Join United Ways of Texas, your United Way peers, and other nonprofits from around the state on February 26th 2025 for a day of conversation, connection, and advocacy at the Texas Capitol.

This year, our United Way Capitol Day will be hosted jointly with the Texas Nonprofit Strong (TNS) Capitol Day as part of the 2025 Nonprofit Summit and Texas Nonprofit Strong initiative powered by One Star and United Ways of Texas.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
UW staff, board members, affinity groups, & other partners/stakeholders encouraged to attend.  An evening donor networking reception will be scheduled the evening before Capitol Day, February 25th

February 25th: OPTIONAL - Evening donor affinity-group networking event starting around 5pm.

February 26th - Capitol Day 8am - 4pm with Networking Happy Hour for UW attendees around 3pm

I do hereby agree and consent as follows. 

A. I consent and authorize United Ways of Texas, to use my likeness in any photograph, video or other digital media (“Photos”) taken or to be taken on February 26, 2025 during United Ways of Texas & Texas Nonprofit Strong Day at the Capitol, in any and all of its publications, including print or web-based publications. 

B. I irrevocably authorize United Ways of Texas to copy, edit, enhance, crop, or otherwise alter any Photo for use in their publications. I also waive any rights for approval or inspection of any Photos. 

C. I understand and agree that all Photos are the property of United Ways of Texas, and will not be returned to me.

D. I acknowledge that I am not entitled to any compensation or royalties with respect to the use of the Photos.

E. I agree to release and forever discharge United Ways of Texas and its affiliates, successors and assigns, officers, employees, representatives, partners, agents and anyone claiming through them, in their individual and/or corporate capacities from any and all claims, liabilities, obligations, promises, agreements, disputes, demands, damages, causes of action of any nature or kind, known or unknown, which I, and anyone claiming on behalf of me, may have or claim to have against Releasee in connection with this Release.

F. I have carefully read and fully understand all the provisions of this Photo Release Form and am freely, knowingly and voluntarily signing.

On February 26, 2025, from 9 AM to 6 PM, join us at the Texas Capitol in Austin for the 2025 United Way & Texas Nonprofit Strong Day at the Capitol!!  This is a great chance to connect with fellow Texas United Ways, passionate volunteers, and dedicated partner agencies as we come together to raise our voices on critical issues.

This year, our United Way Capitol Day will be hosted jointly with Texas Nonprofit Strong (TNS)—an initiative powered by United Ways of Texas (UWT) and One Star focused on elevating and elevating the power and impact of the Texas nonprofit sector.  By joining forces, we’ll maximize our impact and push for vital community-focused policy changes.
